About Us
Alpha Financial Consultants (Somerset) Ltd is based in the village of Williton, about 20 miles west of Taunton, surrounded by beautiful countryside and sandwiched between the Quantock hills on one side and Exmoor on the other. Our clients are spread around the country, although naturally many live in the West Country.
We have a sister company, Alpha Financial Consultants (South West) Ltd, which is based in Torquay.
We provide advice on a broad range of financial planning issues, although our specialisms lie in post retirement issues:
- Retirement income planning – i.e. making the most of your savings (be they inside or outside of “pension savings schemes”) so that you can enjoy your well-earned retirement.
- Income and capital tax planning – planning your finances so you and not the treasury are the main recipient.
- Inheritance tax planning – planning your finances so that your chosen beneficiaries, not the treasury, are the main recipient of your estate when you die.
- Long term care planning – making sure that even if you are no longer able to care for yourself, you can still maintain your quality of life without fearing running out of funds.
- Being generous – helping and encouraging you to support good causes and helping the good causes to manage their money well – again in a way that benefits the causes not the chancellor.
