Long term care
At Alpha we have been providing specialist advice in this sensitive area for almost 10 years. In addition to business experience and professional advanced qualifications (CF8, G80, G10 and G60,), principle director and adviser Robin Stamp has personal family experience of needing to arrange care for his own parents. Thus he understands all too well the emotional issues involved as well as the financial ones.
We believe that what the majority of people want is truly independent advice (not sales) on:
- How to make sure that you are claiming any assistance possible, thus avoiding paying for care fees where the government, NHS or local authority should be paying or at least contributing towards them.
- How to arrange finances and pay for care (where the responsibility lies with the individual), whilst preserving or protecting assets from total erosion.
- How to create and/or use an enduring power of attorney (making sure that you meet your obligations as attorneys acting for someone in care).
